Yes

How is social media changing news?

Everything is immediate. Right or wrong, it's not always about who's right, it's who's first.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To report. Whether via writing, audio, or video, serious or humorous.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I'm pretty simple - WordPress and Echobox is generally all I roll with.

Why did you become a journalist?

I enjoy creating content more than anything else I've ever done.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I really enjoyed writing lists of top Christmas movies and songs. This was something that moved away from the seriousness of the world.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Constantly write. Don't stop. And write about things that are outside of your comfort zone.

When's the best time to pitch you?

anytime from 9am - 2pm
