What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist is all about providing your readers with new information and explaining the connections between stories.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
Not sure. Trying not to get too addicted to Twitter as it is a common problem in this industry.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Big fan of well-thought out and well-written email pitches.

Google's collaborative tools and OpenOffice.

People who are as interested and passionate about technology as myself.
Why did you become a journalist?
I have always been interested in and passionate about technology, by becoming a journalist I was able to share my insights and views.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not. In hindsight I should have tried to though.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Writing about Samsung's Vice Chairman being convicted while living in South Korea.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep writing and keep reading as it will only make you better at it.
