What does it mean to be a journalist?
To inform people of what's happening - not to alter the truth or lie. Give the facts in a relatable, compassionate way.

Twitter, Wordpress, Facebook, phones, email.

Twitter! It's super fast, and the character limit gets you to the point. It is SO valuable in breaking news events.

Why did you become a journalist?
Because I was fascinated by the media - telling stories, getting the truth, and the always changing landscape.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, sadly we didn't have one. I regret not starting one.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
A business story I wrote for The Global Panorama on News Corp acquiring Storyful. Hard work when you don't know anything about the market!
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Aim high and follow your dreams. Start young. But be in it for the right reasons - if it's fame, you're in the wrong industry.
