Why did you become a journalist?
My whole family works in journalism. I grew up knowing that this is what I want to do.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I went to high school in Moscow, and I was the editor of the my school's newspaper.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud working on "The Best Globe photos of 2013" video, telling stories behind the Globe's most memorable images.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Work hard and don't be afraid to take risks.
