Anwar Ali’s Biography
Anwar is a visual journalist based in Alberta, Canada.
His written work has appeared in Quartz, CBC.ca, Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star, Walrus Magazine, Noisey, Montreal Gazette and Alberta Venture.
He’s a graduate of Ryerson University’s broadcast journalism program and University of Alberta’s School of Business with a degree in Organizational Behaviour, specializing in new venture creation, and Spanish-American Studies. He recently completed a graphic design diploma at Visual College of Art and Design.
Anwar has lived in Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.
