This reduces the quality Social media has made information faster and more accessible, but it has also blurred the line between reporting, commentary, and opinion. who is interested in politics and how society can influence it, who is worried when the war between Russia and Ukraine will end and how we wPeople interested in understanding Russian politics beyond the headlines — especially regional politics, elections, media, civil society, public opinion, and historical memory.
Why did you become a journalist?
I wanted to help people understand how political institutions affect their lives and to contribute to the development of civil society in Russia.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
A series of analytical articles based on election roundtables I organized and moderated in Tula. The discussions brought together election officials, political scientists, party representatives, and civic activists to examine regional elections, political competition, and public participation.
