Why did you become a journalist?
I have always enjoyed the relationship between a reader and a writer and the idea of storytelling.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes. I worked as a Business, Science, and Technology Editor at Boston University News Service.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am very proud of writing and completing my Master's degree-professional project. It is a profile of a sex worker from Mumbai.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Focus on quality story than the number of reports to add to your portfolio.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Mid-afternoon
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I am trying to explore new things in the city. It can be a workshop or just a restaurant.
