To learn how Myosin dynamics contributes towards sibling cell size asymmetry, we used live cell imaging and measured the relocalization dynamics of Non-muscle Myosin II (visualized with Sqh::GFP19; Myosin (Myo), hereafter) together with the cell cycle marker His2A::mRFP in wild-type fly neuroblasts. We confirmed that Myosin was localized almost uniformly around the cortex by late metaphase12, 18, 20.
