Why did you become a journalist?
To offer others' stories to the world. It's a service job. I'm just trying to serve the public.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not. In hindsight, I should've. I think it would have been fun!

A personal commentary, 'How The Nationals Ball Park Helped Changed Washington, D.C., From Chocolate City.' Read at ESPN's The Undefeated.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Start Now. If you're reading this and want to get into journalism, go out and tell me a story. Don't ever stop.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Late at night or early in the morning. I'm a night owl. Between 10 am and 7 pm, I could be asleep.
