Journalism, for me, is about truth supported by facts. And people need truth to make life decisions. That's why I'm here.

Why did you become a journalist?
I grew up watching the news and I fell in love with it. I was determined to be a journalist and the rest as they say, is history.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Always the one I am working on. My boss taught me to write every story as though it's the last one. But historically, I would say Lifesport.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be teachable. And remain so for life.
