Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist at age 17 to spread awareness about prominent issues associated with voting, immigration rights and to empower.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I wrote about politics, covered political events, and served as my high school's political correspondent.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be yourself, and let your personal journey and struggles drive the purpose behind what you do.
