Not All Muslims Can Fast: "I've Been Told I’m Not a Good Muslim. They Don’t Realize Illnesses Can Be Invisible"
We all think it: Are people who are sick or really old required to fast? It seems like an unreasonable request. Well, it is. And that is why those who are sick temporarily or chronically, the elderly and weak, women who are pregnant, having post-natal bleeding, nursing, or are on their period, and people who are traveling, are not required to fast (for some in this list, fasting is not allowed at all because it would be detrimental to their health).

The following short collection lists eight of the most important monuments in the world in terms of interfaith dialogue and interfaith relations. Why I Admire Muhammad: A Response to Islamophobes
Islamophobes have attacked me because I’ve written positively about Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam. Because I am a Catholic, they consider me to be a heretic and feel that my interfaith activities are sacrilegious. Islam, to these critics, is evil and Muhammad is nothing but a terrorist. I see Muhammad very differently from these fanatics. This short piece highlights his exemplary character and challenges Islamophobes to think differently about the Prophet.

She is breaking barriers in one of Iran’s most conservative regions. Breaking barriers as a woman Ramin is a small village in the extreme south of Iran, it is located just a few miles away from the city of Chabahar. The region is known for its extensive levels of social deprivation.
This is What Happened to Muslims and Jews after the fall of Islamic Spain in 1492
On January 2, 1492, the Catholic royal powerhouse Queen Isabel of Castile and King Ferdinand of Aragon finally conquered Granada, the last Muslim stronghold of Spain, ending the 700 years of Moorish rule in the Iberian Peninsula. After decades of war between the Catholic monarchs and Boabdil, the last Sultan of Spain, Boabdil was sent into exile and was granted an enclave in the Alpujarra Mountains. Within a year, Boabdil buried his wife, Morayma, and his youngest son Yusuf.
10 Muslim men who ruled 2015
It’s the end of the year already. It has been an eventful year, with many different stories. From terror attacks to refugees leaving their country in the hope to find a better future. The tension increased in the Middle East, and 2015 was also the year that everybody asked the same question: Is the dress blue and black or gold and white? But that is not the question that I will be answering (the dress was black and blue by the way). We were wondering which Muslims achieved great things in 2015.
