How is social media changing news?
Social media makes it easier and faster to get in touch with our readers. However, the stranglehold of a handful of private companies, almost all of them American, in this sector of social networks also exposes the world of journalism to a certain form of servitude that must be aware of, in order to free information, so that it remains one of the pillars of democracy.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Since my youth, I would of course say "Tintin"! But as an adult, I also think of characters like "Private Joker" in Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece "Full Metal Jacket"...

What's your favorite drink?
First of all, excellent drinking water, preferably sparkling water! Otherwise, I would say, in the evening of course, a delicate and complex red wine, such as Gigondas, Fleurie or Pauillac, to accompany sublime Mediterranean, French, Italian or Oriental cuisine... And for summer afternoons, the undisputed master of drinks will always be rum in cocktails, planteur or pinacolada! ;)
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Obviously, you will find me on the ground, as close as possible to the news and to our fellow citizens.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I particularly appreciate the articles in "Le Monde Diplomatique". And I must admit that some foreign newspapers or magazines (print or web), in Africa or the Middle East, can surprise by the quality of their writings...
