Mayweather's Canelo obsession

Floyd being truthful about Canelo
i'll never understand why people hang onto the 1% they really dislike rather than anything else.
Would Boxing not be more enjoyable if fighters weren't so protective of their "0"?
It ain't the boxers protecting the 0. It is everyone else that has nothing to do with training the fighter, but has their hands in his/her pocket that is protecting the 0. Just look at the garbage that comes out of the commentators mouth. Same reason boxers can't tell you why fights aren't really happening, money rules, and their employers is what increases their earnings.
What would have been the best year for Mayweather-Canelo rematch?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by MixedMartialLaw, Dec 4, 2021 at 4:44 PM. After his 2013 loss to Mayweather and before Mayweather finally retired Canelo brought up a few times wanting to rematch Mayweather. What year would have made the most sense for both for that to have happened? Floyd would have whooped him again until just recently (bout a couple of years now) at which point floyd was too old.
Premature coronation: might it be that *none* of the lightweight "four kings" end up HOF worthy?
Not sure why they were anointed ''The Four Kings'' in the first place Lopez is the only one of them who actually did something of note and he's a massive weight bully who only took the fight because he's way bigger than natural 126 pounder Loma 'He’s better off at 130 or 126. “I think that 135 is too heavy for him. Fakest person in the boxing world?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Mighty, Nov 4, 2021 at 3:29 AM. Who has the "fakest" personality in your book? I'd say definitely bodybuilder. His entire personality is fake. He acts like a very humble person and that's very funny. Wilder and Fury are natural guys. I like both as honesty. Oneirokritis and lepinthehood like this. Wilder is natural?
Do we just not care that much about title defense streaks?
IMO It depends on a few factors:- Age/frame/weight bulling capability Depth in the division Depth in adjacent divisions Level of challenge / legacy - HOF / candidate ATG dance partners Recent HOF / ATG candidates 'path' Where is the 'money fights' Much more in recent years it seems (at least to me) that - maybe due to nutritional / weight cutting advances - that many more fighters are not really fighting at their natural weight class, which then gives them the option of moving up in divisions...
WBA Lists 30 world champions on their website for just 17 divisions
This content is protected Bad jam. The reason, of course, is that they can milk all of them for money whenever they fight via sanctioning fees. A few years back, the WBA decided, aye, **** all that regional belts nonsense, those fighters don't get big purses, why stick with just one world champion? That's where the big money is? So they started naming more champions, just whenever they felt like it, world champions of all shapes and sizes with nice, big, fat, tv paychecks to raid for their cash.

Pacquiao Became a Mexican Stationary Fighter in his Last Fight
To those who were wondering what the hell happened to him. He got cramps. In the video, it says, him and his coaching staffs discuss about his leg cramp. His best weapon against giants was unfortunately taken away from him by either over training or father time. Angles, side to side movement all gone. He became a Mexican stationary fighter. Apparently, he is just one bad movement away from going full blown tightness. Meaning he was in danger of going No Mas in this fight.

Conveniently Timed Stoppages For Possibly Promotionally Pressured Propagandistic Purposes.
Now I'm not saying there's any definitive proof of anything. Merely that there seems to occasionally be some suspiciously timed stoppages, usually when the outcome seems quite inevitable. But by calling it a round early, it allows the promoters adn hypers on the web to boast about how their favorite fighter managed to stop a fighter quicker than someone else, usually noted for their power. Mayweather vs Canello Alvarez prime for prime
We know Canello lost to Mayweather a few years back but does this version beat Money Mayweather? Or both at their peaks? if canelo could be 152 and in his prime the fight ends the same way imo. "this version" of canelo relies on him being around 168, which of course floyd could never get close to.

IB's RBR disclaimer: DO NOT ASK FOR LINKS! Do not hint for them. Do not ask "what channel?". Do not make any post that could be interpreted as insinuating a link request, even if it sounds innocent (ie stuff like "Gee, I don't have a way to watch this" or "if only this was televised where I live...") The folks at ESB do not want to get sued and therefore have adopted a VERY strict policy of zero-tolerance on stream requests to cover their butts. Thank you. PS.

200,000-horsepower Aussie rocket car takes aim at 1,000 mph in 2022
With the Bloodhound SSC team flat broke, and the North American Eagle destroyed in a tragic fireball in Oregon, Perth's Aussie Invader 5R is planning to take a run at the very elusive 1,000 mph (1,609.3 km/h) mark. In doing so, the team will need to smash the outright land speed record, which has stood firm since October 1997, when the ThrustSSC broke the sound barrier for the first time and recorded an official 763.035 mph (1227.985 km/h).

As he was paying close attention to Jeff Horn fights & noticed a difference. If Mundine gets it his way, we can expect him to push for the Tim Tszyu fight.

Canelo Just Became the Ring Unified Super Middleweight Champion.

Could Wilder still have the last laugh?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Rikicortz, Dec 13, 2020 at 6:33 AM. If AJ/Fury happens next for the undisputed title, then Wilder could still face the winner in future and KO either of them to get all the belts it's possible. wilder beats AJ for me, and still can beat fury but it has to happen in the first 3 rounds or he gets caned. i think it's dismissive to write wilder off.
AJ vs Fury, if it comes off next?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by lufcrazy, Dec 12, 2020 at 3:39 PM. Biggest fight in boxing today. Who you got? AJ looks like he wants to cry knowing he needs to fight Fury Advertisement Fury plays with this hype job. I don't even think AJ has a punchers chance. Fury took the best shot Wilder has in his arsenal and came back to kick his arse that round. I reckon Fury is as dominant as he was knocking Wilder out.
Would you favor Joyce over Fury?
in what sport? Not a chance in hell. Fury is levels above. Furious > Juggernautness. Absolutely not, too slow to hit Fury properly. I can't see Joyce doing anything against a guy twice as fast AND taller with longer reach. Fury has a 5" reach advantage. Joyce's jab could trouble Fury right?
Fighters born in the Soviet Union don't get a fair shake in the USA
Kovalev, Golovkin and Lomachenko have all been robbed twice each in America. Why can't they get a fair shake? Lomachenko was robbed in only his second fight against an opponent who came into the ring weighing more than he was supposed to and cheated his way to a hometown decision by using the dirtiest fight tactics in the book. I scored that fight 115-113 for Lomachenko (as the one honest judge did), but then again I'm not from around Texas.
So, the new TBE puts some serious pain to Floyd's ass?
First of all, I want to say I'm NOT a hater of Floyd Mayweather. He was great, great fighter, one of the best of all time. I think he clearly beat Maidana, ODLH and Pacquiao, and the only fight in which decision for Floyd could be questioned was the first Castillo fight. Floyd completely owned Canelo winning all 12 rounds on my card and Canelo proved to be a great fighter. But, as great as Floyd is in boxing, he is still awfully insecure person - yes, with all his achievements, money, recognition...
