Yes, for years inused a typewriter. The physical feel of writing on one if them is incomparable.
How is social media changing news?
For the worse. Social media is allowing false narratives and garbage to soread faster than genuine news.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Piers Morgan. He cant possibly be a real human.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It's different for everyone, but for me it's about being honest with your audience. I do movie reviews and I know people are goimg to disagree iwth my thoughts, but my reviews are alwys honest to how I feel.

Honestly i havent seen any that I really thought were funny.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?
My pc, phine and Word, but my tabket, Galaxy S8 Ultra is a beast for anything I need.

Instagram. I think the reach is more there than on other sites

Baz Lurhman. I reviewed Elvis and I just wish he'd seen the review. I was really happy with it
Why did you become a journalist?
A lifelong dream that had been on pause fora very long time.

I did when we had one. I wrote pieces on school events.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Plug away. You're unlikely to mkae it big without putting in a huge amount of work. It sucks but that's the way it is.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
People think writing reviews is easy. It's really not. Sometikes you go into a film expecting to really like it but have to come out and write a negative review...... And that's a hard thing to have to do.
