We were taught by an order of nuns that I'd joke was similar to Marine Corps drill sergeants. Their mantra was reading, reading and more reading. Every year at summer break we went home with books -- I remember three -- of which we had to write a book report for each.

Missed it by 10 days, but the 100th anniversary of this song being introduced to American audiences at Carnegie Hall in New York was on October 5, 2022. She is TIRED. It is time for her to move on, but her Body tries to keep her going. My housemates cat, Sal went the same way. It took two days of tiredness and trying to move from place to place sometimes. At the end she went outside - very slowly -for a few hours, We just played periphery. She munched some grass, we thought she had died.... but then she got up and crawled under his bed. She died a couple of hours later. We played solfeggio tones for cats for the last day or so.

250 Mile Tornado Storm Track. A Record Breaker
Radar identified tornadoes are not always "on the ground" continuously and they are not extremely wide. Also many times they do not hit major population centers. I'm also amazed that the death toll wasn't much higher, mainly because it was night. Death tolls from tornadoes have gone way down in the last 70 years, due to improved radar, Emergency Broadcast, Emergency Alert System, improved early prediction of severe tornadoes, definition between tornado emergency and tornado warning.

"I will never watch a movie about 9/11 because I know it will be filled with a bunch of lies (or filled with images I saw first hand) I don't watch memorials about 9/11. And the only time I speak about this day is on 9/11." I'll add that I was in NYC last August to celebrate my 60th birthday, the first time I went back in 17 years.
