The “Day in the Life of IR” video series was developed by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) MSC PR and Communications Committee to generate interest and promote the field of interventional radiology (IR). This series aims to expose undergraduate and medical students to IR physician perspectives of a typical day. As IR continues to grow as a specialty, it is essential to promote awareness and recruit future generations of physicians to this innovative field [1,2].
