People call me “BAH” — as in the sound sheep make — because of my initials.

I’m an entertainment reporter at Mashable, where I interview celebrities, TV networks, record labels and other entertainment sources about trending news topics or their digital presences and social media campaigns.

Before joining Mashable, I was a business reporter at TechMediaNetwork, where I wrote news about small businesses, social media, technology, consumer trends and workplace behaviors. My work in 2010 earned me the B2B Twitterer of the Year award in business journalism.

I have worked as an online producer, editor, reporter, copy editor and designer for The Arizona Republic, AzCentral.com, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Des Moines Register, Metromix and three newspapers in Nebraska. I have also completed projects for The New York Times.
