Are camping fees in California per person or per spot?
Recreation.gov lists camping and RV sites at U.S. national parks, forests and other federal land. The nightly fee shown is per site, and you're allowed up to the maximum number of people shown for that site. (I've stayed at quite a few of these campgrounds.) When you actually go to book your campsite, the web site will tell you the maximum number of people allowed to camp on the campsite. Your fee covers that many people.
Where would I find Graham Bell's kite experiment data?
I'm looking for experimental data (lift, drag, pull, etc...) of Graham Bell's tetrahedral kite. As he was a scientist and inventor I thought that he might have written some quantitative data down on the kite's performance. Would anybody know a resource where I could find this? A museum maybe? Some website?
Software not available from update server when installing Windows 8.1 on Mavericks
I am trying to install Windows 8.1 on OS X Mavericks via Bootcamp. I have a Macbook Pro mid 2010 model. Unfortunately, I am getting the following error message when the installer tries to download Windows support software:
Is Soundflower 1.6.6 compatible with Mavericks 10.9?
Sorry to be the first negative, but for me it does not work. Soundflower itself is working, but Soundflowerbed keeps crashing as soon as you want to change any settings. Konsole gives this information: There's a lot more on that error report regarding several .dylibs, but mainly thats it. Probably has to do with upgrading from SnowLeopard instead of using a fresh install.
