Charge Transfer Modulation in Vanadium‐Doped WS2/Bi2O2Se Heterostructures

Microscopic Characterization of WS2/Bi2O2Se and V-Doped WS2/Bi2O2Se Figure 1a–c shows the optical images of WS2/Bi2O2Se and V-WS2/Bi2O2Se heterostructures. Figure 1d–f shows the atmoic force microscopy (AFM) images of WS2/Bi2O2Se and V-WS2/ Bi2O2Se heterostructures with corresponding heights profiles shown as insets. From the AFM images, the thickness of the Bi2O2Se crystals is ≈30–60 nm. The thickness of monolayers of WS2 and V-WS2 is ≈4 nm instead of ≈0.7 nm.

Schaak and Fei Yan Abstract Herein, we report an effective strategy to maximize the antimicrobial activity of CuWO4/CuS hybrid composites, prepared by simply mixing CuWO4 and CuS nanopowders with varying weight ratios in phosphate buffered saline solution by ultrasound.

Further modification of the surface terminations makes MXenes even more appealing for practical applications.
