Abstract Channel estimation is one of the most fundamental and performance-limiting operations in fifth-generation (5G) and emerging sixth-generation (6G) wireless networks, where ultra-massive MIMO arrays, millimetre-wave and terahertz carrier frequencies, and non-Gaussian hardware-induced noise combine to render classical least-squares and minimum mean squared error estimators inadequate.
Abstract Tunnel field-effect transistors (TFETs) are promising future candidates of ultra-low-power electronics because they have the potential to reach sub-60 mV/decade of subthreshold swing. Nevertheless, traditional TFET technologies have drawbacks associated with low ON-current and ambipolar conductivity, limiting their usefulness in the circuit.
Abstract In this paper, a microstrip patch antenna is designed and proposed in a 2 × 2 MIMO configuration for use in 6G wireless communications in upper mid-band like 7.125–8.4 GHz. The design of the antenna is imposed on a dual fractal geometry strategy to improve performance parameters. The first aspect of the geometry uses a circular fractal structure of up to four iterations, and the second aspect uses a circular slot to adjust the radiating patch.
