Have you ever used a typewriter?

No.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Google Docs, a Sony FS7 camera and my brain.

What's your favorite social network?

I generally avoid it at all costs.

Why did you become a journalist?

I made videos for a long time, and then one day I was asked to write a piece alongside one of these videos. Oddly enough, it changed my life.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I loved catching a train to the French Alps in order to promote sustainable ski travel. It was a great lesson in the ease of eco-travel!

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Jeez, I need the advice, not them.

What's your favorite drink?

Coffee.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Hugging my cat or filming someone doing something cool.
