Ben Bschor’s Biography

I am an experienced b2b financial journalist, editor and conference organiser with a particular focus on global regulation, strategy, financing and M&A.

In July 2014 I joined Euromoney to work on the launch of a new publication for participants in the bank regulatory capital markets. Reg Cap Analytics went live in October 2014.

As Editor of Reg Cap Analytics I am overseeing the regulatory coverage: we are closely following bank reg cap requirements and the relevant regulation that was established following the 2007/8 financial crisis, namely Basel III and its implementations, such as the CRD, CRR and BRRD in Europe, and its local variations.

In my previous professional life I was Regulatory & Competition Correspondent for Mergermarket’s dealReporter (Financial Times Group) in London and Brussels. As accredited journalist to the European Commission I covered high profile merger control cases, leveraging my network of key contacts in the EU’s regulatory arena.

From 2011 to 2014 I was the Editor of TelecomFinance, a global print and online publication for telecoms investment bankers, CEOs, CFOs, and heads of strategy and regulation.

In this role I also organised and chaired the annual TelecomFinance Live Conference in London.
