Benjamin Allbright 2025 NFL Draft Mock Draft
I tried to do my best to match player or position to team rather than projecting trades. I do believe there are several trade candidates in this draft. Carolina and Minnesota have both been vocal about wanting to move back, whether or not they actually succeed. I did not include Jaxon Dart in the first round although I do think it's likely a team could trade into the last 12 picks for him.
Benjamin Allbright 2024 NFL Mock Draft Original
As I think everyone at this point knows, I do one mock draft every year. This year I decided to project some trades and have some fun with it. Advance intel: -I think there is one very specific scenario in which the Broncos would trade up. I did not project that here, but if a certain QB were available at a certain point I think they would TRY. -There are a couple teams I'm aware of that are monitoring and would possibly move from the second round back into the first.
05 December Mailbag
Welcome back to the mailbag! Jake V wrote in and asked: "Why is the offense better but it seems like the stats are worse?" Funny observation Jake, and yeah that's sort of a by-product of the Sean Payton offense. It spreads the ball around a lot and has a lot of built in targets for the running backs. So while no WR has had a 100 yard game this year, the offense appears to be getting better, even if individual stats seem to be less.
October 6 Broncos Mailbag
I've been threatening to do this for awhile, and it's finally here. Our weekly mailbag where I answer your questions about the Broncos and the NFL. If you guys (and gals) want your questions answered just tag me on Twitter @AllbrightNFL. Mike in Aurora asks "Are the Broncos shopping WR Jerry Jeudy?" Well Mike, with the emergence of Marvin Mims and the need to pay Jerry Jeudy here soon the Broncos would do well to see what the market is for Jeudy in trade.
2023 NFL Draft recaps: A look at all 32 teams and how they did
Everyone loves to do post-NFL Draft grades, but I just can’t bring myself to do them. There’s no way to know for another couple years how these things should grade out and all we’re really doing is comparing our personal expectations and biases to what happened. So, I’ll give everyone an “I” for incomplete and tell you for each team what I really liked, and what I didn’t. Let’s start with the NFC. NFC Arizona Cardinals NFL Draft recap What I liked: Just about everything.
Final 2023 NFL mock draft: Sportsnaut insider Benjamin Allbright provides his picks
Sportsnaut’s NFL insider Benjamin Allbright provides his first and only 2023 NFL mock draft with the annual event getting going in Kansas City on Thursday. The No. 1 pick seems to be all but set with former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young heading to the Carolina Panthers. After that, it’s pretty much anyone’s best guess what might happen in Round 1. Providing his picks after talking with experts and those around the league, here is our insider’s mock draft for the 2023 event.
NFL Draft rumors, Trey Lance trade talk and more
There’s a lot of discussion about “S2” scores as it relates to quarterbacks in the 2023 NFL Draft. Not that I doubt the reporting of Bob McGinn. But it’s important to know the context of those scores (or rather percentiles) that have been reported. The S2 has multiple sections. Nine in fact. So the question I have to ask immediately is are these composite scores? Scores from one section? Highest and lowest? The S2 has a limited data set with regard to NFL application.
NFL rumors: Top news and notes heading into the NFL Draft
As the 2023 NFL Draft nears, NFL rumor season heats up. Teams are jockeying for position to get their guy, or at least not be left holding the bag on a roster need. The Baltimore Ravens signed Odell Beckham Jr. to a one year, $15 million deal . The Ravens were the only team in on Beckham at that price point or its vicinity, at more than double the second highest offer around the league. Other teams feel it was a move designed to bring Lamar Jackson back to the fold.
Why Lamar Jackson should start negotiating through the media
It seems we’ve seen every think-piece, column, narrative and agenda published about Lamar Jackson in recent weeks. Screeds decrying his lack of an agent and monologues applauding it. We’ve seen every conspiratorial and tin foil hat angle about how the NFL “is really trying to collude against him” which is ludicrous when the evidence is examined.
NFL insider mailbag: Latest on DeAndre Hopkins, Odell Beckham Jr. and more
Every week, Sportsnaut NFL insider Benjamin Allbright will answer questions from fans involving some of the biggest stories around the league. Here’s the latest iteration. I love answering your questions but sometimes I don’t see them all on Twitter or I’ve already answered a question. So, we decided here at Sportsnaut that we would do a regular weekly column trying to answer all your questions in one place.
Denver Broncos taking calls on Jerry Jeudy as rumors heat up
We’ve all seen the talk surrounding the Denver Broncos and whether they are going to move star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. It can be difficult to report on active situations. The ever-changing nature of events can mean that something is true in the moment and then not later. With the NFL, there’s always the public relations aspect of everything, and an attempt to always assuage egos. Whether players, agents or front offices, everyone wants their words couched and nuanced.
NFL rumor mill: Latest updates on Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson and more
Here’s a look at the updated NFL rumor mill three days into free agency and with the 2023 NFL Draft quickly approaching. Arizona Cardinals Arizona is in a “sand it down” rebuild and looking to move players that don’t factor into long term plans or that they can reap a return on. DeAndre Hopkins is on the block and the team has had several calls. I expect him to be dealt prior to the NFL Draft. San Francisco 49ers All eyes on the quarterback situation.

Broncos extend Courtland Sutton
Photo: Getty Images The Denver Broncos have signed WR Courtland Sutton to a 4-year, $60.8 million dollar extension. The deal, which includes $34.9 million guaranteed, comes on the heels of an extension for WR Tim Patrick signed on Friday. Sutton has been playing his way back from a torn ACL suffered last season. With Sutton and Patrick both extended and Jerry Jeudy on a rookie deal, the Broncos primary wide receivers look set for the next few seasons.
