Benjamin Cannon’s Biography
I'm a pop culture writer whose work has been featured on The A.V. Club since 2014. As a weekly contributor to that site's Podmass feature, I have become something of an expert in the world of podcasts, especially interested in the realms of discovery and promotion. I have made it my aim to not simply review programs but to study the landscape of the medium, researching the players, monitoring its growth, and writing from an holistic vantage. This has meant consuming as many shows as waking hours would allow, exhaustively seeking out new and different programs, and championing marginalized voices.
