Social media is changing the dissemination of information. Whether true or false, news can reach an enormous amount of people.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist means being true to yourself, what you're writing, and be aware of who you're influencing with your words.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer to see the enthusiasm someone has for a story they want to write.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use Google Drive, Microsoft Word, and Snipping Tool.

Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist because I wanted to write about the thing that I hold dear to my heart, video games.

I did not work for my highschool newspaper.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm most proud of my comprehensive look at all the types of ammo in Escape from Tarkov.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Freelancing is difficult work, and that is mostly what you'll find at first. Use it to build your portfolio and network.

Whenever.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I've never received a pitch.

I'm most likely to be behind another screen, such as a phone or TV.
