Why did you become a journalist?

I love to write and share people's stories. I also love to learn and journalism allows me to explore new worlds.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I did work for my high school newspaper. I started out as a features reporter and moved into the Opinion editor.

The best pitches I get are the ones that are tailored to who I am. That make me feel like we're having a conversation.

Eating Well magazine (for the recipes, of course).
