On America's 250th Birthday, Acknowledge Unborn Babies Have a Right to Life - LifeNews.com
In celebrating her 250 th birthday, America is celebrating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, a document that lays out with clarity the principles and self-evident truths on which our Republic is based. Our Founders declared God as the source of our unalienable rights, starting with the right to life itself, and further declared that governments are instituted to secure those rights. George Washington wrote to Tench TilghmanI, "I shall persevere ...
American History with Bill Federer
The story of Christianity in America is one of the most astonishing chapters in the annals of the world. The events of Providence in reserving and preparing the country of these United States to be the theater of its development and triumph, constitute one of the most remarkable passages of modern history. This is a Christian nation, first in name, and secondly because of the many and mighty elements of a pure Christianity which have given it character and shaped its destiny from the beginning.

What could I possibly add to their moving remarks. Nothing. I feel at a total loss.
The Nazi aggression that led to D-Day
After World War I, Germany's economy suffered from depression and a devaluation of its currency. On January 30, 1933, Adolf Hitler was elected Chancellor of Germany, promising hope and universal healthcare. Less than a month later, on February 27, 1933, a crisis occurred -- the Reichstag, Germany's Capitol Building, was suspiciously set on fire, with evidence pointing to Hitler's supporters.

The tragedy of the 'praying Indians'
Settlers in New England highlighted the conflict between two powerful human motivations: greed and the Gospel. Gospel-motivated missionaries wanted to bless the native inhabitants, both physically and spiritually. Unfortunately, greed-motivated settlers viewed natives as an unpredictable danger obstructing safe expansion, as they would sometimes steal from farms or kidnap women and children.

“Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” announced President Ronald Reagan at the Berlin Wall, June 12, 1987. Begun after Lenin’s Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, the Soviet Union existed from 1922 to 1991.
