TRIM5 integrates hypoglycemic stress and influenza infection
Abstract The role of glucose restriction in host antiviral defense remains elusive. Here, we investigate the impact of pre-existing hypoglycemia on host susceptibility to influenza infections. We find that mouse models with intermittent hypoglycemia exhibit heightened vulnerability to influenza A virus (IAV) infections at low to moderate exposure levels. This vulnerability is attributed to reduced expression of TRIM5 in the lung subsequent to hypoglycemic stress.
Impact of NPAS2 on mPFC dopamine synthesis and nap behavior
Abstract The biological basis of the afternoon nap, a widespread yet poorly understood phenomenon, has remained elusive. Here we identify NPAS2, among core circadian regulators, as a sex-independent determinant of the nap behavior in mice. Specifically, medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC)-expressed NPAS2 orchestrates nap regulation through circadian modulation of local dopaminergic activity.

A Study on the Motion Behavior of Metallic Contaminant Particles in Transformer Insulation Oil under Multiphysical Fields
1. Introduction The safe and reliable operation of large power transformers, the cornerstone of the UHV power grid, is crucial to ensuring the overall safety of the entire power grid [1]. At present, large power transformers are generally oil-immersed structures, and their interior is generally combined oil–paper insulation. The insulating medium includes insulating oil, paper, cardboard, and other solid insulating components.

Near‐Infrared Organic Photodetectors toward Skin‐Integrated Photoplethysmography‐Electrocardiography Multimodal Sensing System
1 Introduction Wearable electronic devices with a flexible form factor have unique advantages, including high conformability to the skin, high data extraction precision, and low motion artifacts,[1] which will meet the demands for personalized health monitoring applications.
Sputtered binder-free Cu3N electrode materials for high-performance quasi-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor
Sputtered binder-free Cu3N electrode materials for high-performance quasi-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor Zhengbing Qi, Binbin Wei, Hao Shen, Zhuo Hou, Minjie Fang, Jingang Wu, Hanfeng Liang and Zhoucheng Wang Abstract Developing high-efficiency electrode materials is of great importance in manufacturing supercapacitor devices with superior electrochemical performance.
Ultraflexible tattoo electrodes for epidermal and in vivo electrophysiological recording
Biocompatibility and dermal tattoo electrodes for in vivo electrophysiology Next, we attended to the biocompatibility evaluation of dermal tattoo electrodes. Prior to the ink injection, we assessed the possibility of cell toxicity ex vivo. We cultured NIH-3T3 fibroblast cells in the medium originally incubated with the PPEL ink in different concentrations (0.02, 0.2, 2, 20, and 40 μL mL–1) and then performed a trypan blue exclusion assay.
Recent Insights into Sample Pretreatment Methods for Mycotoxins in Different Food Matrices: A Critical Review on Novel Materials
Abstract : Mycotoxins pollution is a global concern, and can pose a serious threat to human health. People and livestock eating contaminated food will encounter acute and chronic poisoning symptoms, such as carcinogenicity, acute hepatitis, and a weakened immune system. In order to prevent or reduce the exposure of human beings and livestock to mycotoxins, it is necessary to screen mycotoxins in different foods efficiently, sensitively, and selectively.

Construction of 3D Si@Ti@TiN Thin Film Arrays for Aqueous Symmetric Supercapacitors Binbin Wei, Hanfeng Liang, Zhengbing Qi, Dongfang Zhang, Hao Shen, Wenshen Hu and Zhoucheng Wang Abstract We report the preparation of 3D binder-free Si@Ti@TiN thin film array electrodes for supercapacitors using deep silicon etching and magnetron sputtering for the first time.
UPLC-MS/MS method for determination of schisandrin in rat plasma and brain microdialysates: application to a comparative pharmacokinetic and brain distribution study in normal and Alzheimer’s disease rats - Analytical Methods (RSC Publishing)
Abstract Schisandrin is the major active ingredient of S. chinensis, which provides an anti-AD activity. The objective of this study was to develop a method to study on the comparative pharmacokinetics and brain distribution of schisandrin in normal and AD rats. Therefore, an efficient UPLC-MS/MS method for the determination of schisandrin in rat plasma and brain microdialysates has been developed and validated.
CrN Thin Film Prepared by Reactive Magnetron Sputtering for Symmetric Supercapacitors
Supercapacitors have been becoming indispensable energy storage devices in micro electromechanical systems and have been widely studied over the past few decades. Transition metal nitrides with excellent electrical conductivity and superior cycling stability are promising candidates as supercapacitor electrode materials. In this work, we report the fabrication of CrN thin films using reactive DC magnetron sputtering and further their applications for symmetric supercapacitors for the first time.
