Investigating risk factors and developing a predictive model for venous thromboembolism in patients with sepsis
Abstract Background: Patients with sepsis are at high risk for venous thromboembolism (VTE). However, existing assessment tools designed for general medical or surgical populations may inadequately capture the specific risk profile of septic patients. This study aimed to identify independent predictors of VTE in sepsis and develop a sepsis-specific prediction model. Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, adult patients with sepsis diagnosed at a single center (2015–2024) were enrolled.

Catalytic Selective Oxidation of Aromatic Amines to Azoxy Derivatives with Ultralow Loading Peroxoniobate Salts
Catalytic Selective Oxidation of Aromatic Amines to Azoxy Derivatives with Ultralow Loading Peroxoniobate Salts Zhenshan Hou, Bingjie Ding, Beibei Xv, Zuoji Ding, Tong Zhang, Yajun Wang, Hewen Qiu, Jingjing He, Pengfei An and Yefeng Yao Abstract This work demonstrated that the tartaric acid-coordinated peroxoniobate salts can be employed as highly efficient catalysts in oxidative coupling of aniline to azoxybenzene under green and very mild conditions.
Deep Oxidative Desulfurization of Model Fuels Catalyzed by Subnanosized Ti Oxoclusters
Oxidative desulfurization is a highly effective approach to decrease the sulfur content in transportation fuel and has become an attractive research topic in recent years. Herewith, we have developed a new kind of carboxylic acid-functionalized imidazolium-based ionic liquid-stabilized Ti oxoclusters via a solvothermal method.
Ionic Liquid-Stabilized Vanadium Oxo-clusters Catalyzing Alkane Oxidation by Regulating Oligovanadates
Ionic Liquid-Stabilized Vanadium Oxo-clusters Catalyzing Alkane Oxidation by Regulating Oligovanadates The alkane oxidation under mild conditions occupies an important position in the chemical industry. Herewith, we have designed a novel class of ionic liquid ([TBA][Pic])-stabilized vanadium oxo-clusters (TBA=tetrabutylammonium; Pic= picolinate ions), in which the molar ratio of the IL to V atoms can be tuned facilely to obtain V-OC@IL-0.5, V-OC@IL-1 and V-OC@IL-2, respectively.
