A sommelier will keep them well supplied with their wines and spirits of choice, source rare vintages and help them discover new producers.

Across five global offices, its eight partners oversee scores of projects, from retail and residential to train stations and bridges. In the U.S., OMA partner and architect Jason Long has led designs for acclaimed buildings including Miami Beach’s Faena Forum events venue, the POST Houston mixed-use development, and Chicago’s planned Lucas Cultural Arts Museum.

The Leyton, a new tower set to bring 38 residences to Manhattan’s Upper East Side, will launch sales in March, Mansion Global has learned. Located on Third Avenue between East 62nd and 63rd streets, the Art Deco-inspired project was designed by New York architect Manuel Glas, who spent many years working with Rafael Viñoly. The 37-floor development will feature one- to four-bedroom homes ranging in price from $2 million to $11.5 million, plus a duplex penthouse with a price available on request.

With over 1,000 trees and 20,000 plants on its exterior, the Urban Forest will boast more trees than a nearby park in Brisbane, Australia. The project is hailed as one of the world's most densely-forested greenery-covered buildings by designer Koichi Takada Architects and, assuming it goes ahead as planned, will boast sustainable technology like solar power and rainwater collection.

MVRDV looks to the hills for planned San Francisco tower
Influential Dutch firm MVRDV has unveiled a new mixed-use residential building planned for San Francisco's waterfront. The 23-story tower's blocky design is inspired by the rugged topography of the city. The project's rather boring name of Building A comes from it being one part of a major development named Mission Rock. The development is a dozen years in the making and will transform 28 acres (11 hectares) of windswept parking lot into a new neighborhood.
