I was 16 and wrote for a local paper.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Email only, short and specific. Two or three sentences, a real angle, and something I can verify or test. No mass pitches, no AI-written press releases. If it's good, I'll reply.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
PC and AI to polish translations

A founder who wrote: "Our tool fails at this. Want to test why?" Honesty is the rarest angle in AI

A press release clearly written by AI, pitching an AI tool that "replaces human creativity." Sent to someone who writes about why it doesn't

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That art and AI are opposites. The real divide is between work that carries a decision and work that carries only a prompt. Warhol used machines too. He just knew what he was refusing
