Q: When you first created your index, were you surprised to find any sectors outperforming on LGBT issues? A: I wouldn't necessarily say any surprised me but the most heavily-weighted sectors, when we launched it, were financials and tech, which is interesting. I think Wall Street now is really leading the way in LGBT rights. The number of banks that jumped on board to sign the amicus briefs in the last two Supreme Court cases that dealt with this was staggering.
