For Sale - 2 x Synology RT6600AX Routers and QNAP 2.5gb switch
I have had two of these set up in a mesh and they have been rock solid. I've made the move to Ubiquiti and can honestly say it's not been an improvement in the wifi department. I have more control over things such as VLAN's and that's about it really. The software and ease of setup of these is amazing. I think most people will be more than happy compared to their broadband supplied router. One has a couple of marks on it. No idea where they came from, but wish to mention it.

Updating thread as promised, Small medical update April 29th 2024
#1 Anybody following my thread will know that life has been fairly rubbish lately and it got a little worse recently with this house having a severe rising damp problem and I lost a lot of personal possessions that meant a lot to me and a small portion of my DVD collection got destroyed too.

Life Sentence
morenish Distinguished Member #1 I’m a bit confused by the term ‘life sentence’. A would be terrorist who was planning to kill Police, Soldiers and the public was given a ‘life sentence’ yesterday. He was given 6 years Apparently the bible suggests life as three score and ten, which equals seventy. W.H.O says it has increased to 73.4. I really don’t think I’m confused, but those who use this terminology. Oh well, I dread that day in 6 years time...... Nelson Mandela.

Gambling.
jonna Distinguished Member #1 I'm just watching a tv program about gambling. It's something that I've never got into (barring the lottery £2 a week) it's frightening at the amount of debt people can get into without leaving their homes. Mobile phones, tablets and pc's make it so easy and attractive and the reality of spending real money mustn't hit home until they get their bank statements.

Christmas Adverts
arenaman Distinguished Member #1 They're already annoying me, is there any need to watch a family tucking into the turkey with cracker hats and wooly jumpers on a few days into November? #2 The family were wearing those item, not the turkey #3 Christmas related things do not bother me. What is irritating me at the moment is C4 at every advert break pushing Penelope Keith visiting English villages... Very irritating.
