‘Bo Heamyan' is a versatile multimedia reporter and seasoned features writer with a casual tone and a penchant for seeking offbeat travel & lifestyle experiences.

After spending the best part of a decade working overseas and travelling the world, Bo decided to turn his hand to freelance writing.

Since then, this NCTJ-qualified wordsmith has written for the Peterborough Telegraph, Daily Telegraph and Cambridge News, as well as Group Travel World, MSN and Perfect Fit.

He has also generated commercial content for industry-leaders like Google, Trivago, TUI and Kayak, and contributed ad-hoc articles and features to Yahoo, Hostelworld, TravelTop6, SAGA, and the BBC.

In addition, Bo has taken to musing about the ups-and-downs of parenting since his ever-lively daughter Ellie hijacked his life 12 years ago (a phenomenon recorded in his first book, Expecting the Unexpected).

When not writing, the Lincolnshire-based hack likes nothing more than taking off on spontaneous trips, rocking out at music festivals and getting questions right on Only Connect. However, taking off on spontaneous road trips and exploring the great outdoors with his daughter will always be Bo's greatest pleasure.
