Bob Skoric has dedicated nearly four decades to helping people reconnect with the world of sound. As an audioprosthologist and board-certified professional in hearing instrument sciences, he brings together expert skill and genuine care. He is the founder and president of Beltone-Skoric Hearing Aid Center, which has grown to 37 locations across northern Michigan. His mission has always been clear—helping people regain their hearing and improve their quality of life.
Born in Eastern Europe and now residing in West Palm Beach, Florida, Bob Skoric initially ventured into music. For 30 years, he performed Serbian folk and Balkan music, both locally and internationally, developing a profound understanding of the emotional power of sound. His journey in music began in his hometown of Donji Stepci, following in the footsteps of his father and uncles, who played guitar. At the age of eight, he picked up the guitar, and later, through guidance from a respected teacher, he found his true passion—the accordion. His dedication to his craft earned him the title “First Accordion of North America and Canada” in 1985.
When he's not working with hearing aid patients, Skoric enjoys recording acoustic music in his home studio and cherishes his role as a husband and father. His early experience with music allowed him to truly appreciate sound as something deeply human, not just a scientific element. This appreciation led him to pursue a career in hearing care, where he has been able to help those who have withdrawn from the world due to hearing loss.
Although not a doctor, he is certified in audioprosthology and hearing instrument sciences, specializing in assessing and addressing hearing loss. Bob is also a member of the International Hearing Society and has held a leadership role in the Michigan Alliance of Hearing Care Professionals.
Having helped over 20,000 people improve their hearing, he understands the profound impact of untreated hearing loss on relationships, mental health, and overall well-being. His passion goes beyond treating hearing loss—educating individuals on the importance of early intervention and providing life-changing solutions.
Bob’s approach has always been to break the stigma surrounding hearing aids. His clinics focus on providing modern, discreet hearing aids that make a real difference in patients' lives. Focusing on restoring confidence and connection, he ensures that each patient receives personalized care, from initial consultation to ongoing support.
