What was your first job as a journalist?
I have worked with dozens of small businesses where I managed to get them featured in various papers. Advertising the Betzel and Eppy's.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I went back to school for basics after retiring--would have preferred being a white elephant--but I can get around on a typewriter
How is social media changing news?
It hopefully opens the door to awareness.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
I prefer non rather than fiction. In books I have favorites--not as journalists.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
I would need a proof reader to set up my reports--I write from experience but now back within--I look the other way for the $$$$$$$$
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
The "new day" promised at Research (CUNY/SUNY) and what is going on at the S.B.A.--their partnership is quite large with issues.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Like a business--I need to understand a bottom line and prefer to speak with the pitch first........
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
www.cubedusa.com is an incubator to assist the small business community--what I lack in skills/knowledge I have others assist with.

Who do you wish followed you?
I have a small following now--after learning of the harm that Thomas F. Bello is allowed to do--back in Supreme Court on 1/15 needs awareness
Why did you become a journalist?
I wrote articles as to Thomas F. Bello on the internet that have had many contact me as in many...even the D.O.J. is now involved
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Articles that have affected others such as the pending bill in the Senate regarding F.O.I.L. documents and audits of Comptroller DiNapoli.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Thomas F. Bello- attorney on Staten island who has harmed roughly 50 families as he takes retainers, issues false dockets and statements
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
None--it is not my gig or desire to be a journalist--but to report what goes on to a journalist would be a joy.
