What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Just because it didn't happen in a professional newsroom doesn't mean it wasn't good reporting. Value your clips.
What's your favorite drink?
Caramel iced coffee with cream and sugar from Dunkin. It's basically in my veins.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Taking an unnecessarily-long stroll through the downtown area of whatever city I'm currently located in.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That it's dead, or in its death throes. Labor reporting is as strong as ever.
