Located down the pedestrian side alley next to Bunch of Grapes Bookstore, The Stitchery MV studio belies its subterranean location. It’s a surprisingly cheery space.
Innisfail, Lost and Found
The first house my husband and I owned on the Island was a rambling Victorian on the Tisbury side of Lagoon Pond. It charmed us at first sight with its tall windows, wraparound porch, and double front doors. It lacked just a few things – plumbing, electricity, insulation, and a foundation – so it took ten months before we could move in. Once we did, in October 1997, there were still decades of cobwebs and dust to be removed.

Singapore Court Of Appeal Confirms That The Parties' Intention To Arbitrate Should Not Be Given Effect "At All Costs"
To print this article, all you need is to be registered or login on Mondaq.com. Introduction In BNA v BNB and Anor [2019] SGCA 84, the Singapore Court of Appeal (the “COA“) confirmed that the phrase “arbitration in Shanghai” meant that Shanghai was the seat of arbitration, reversing the position taken by the arbitral tribunal and the High Court. The COA made this finding notwithstanding the fact that the arbitration agreement would, according to BNA, be invalid under PRC law.
