What was your first job as a journalist?
My first real foray into journalism was writing how-to guides for a well-known tech publication.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Grammarly, Hemingway, Apple Notes, and my ten fingers.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes! I was tasked with putting the paper together and sourcing stories to include.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Just write. You'll improve your craft over time.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That anything written about technology must be technical in nature, devoid of all fun.
