I think it means to always be working on becoming a better listener.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I'm really proud of the story I did on SNAP benefits or food stamps in Detroit.

Mornings.

What's your favorite drink?

Tea, English Breakfast.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Taking a walk around my neighborhood or Belle Isle.
