Impacts of Electric Vehicles Charging in Low-Voltage Distribution Networks: A Case Study in Malta
1. Introduction The decarbonization of the energy system relies on the electrification of transportation due to the significant contribution of the transportation sector to global greenhouse gas emissions. To promote clean energy and mobility, many countries have set national goals for electric vehicle (EV) deployment. By using electricity more efficiently, road transportation can become more environmentally friendly, reducing noise and local contaminants.
Impacts of Electric Vehicles Charging in Low-Voltage Distribution Networks: A Case Study in Malta
Adopting time-series profiles is crucial to providing an accurate assessment of the effects of PV and EV integration. The widespread installation of EV charging units necessitates a clear requirement for long-term knowledge of LV networks. By 2014, 90% of Malta’s energy operator Enemalta plc’s customers had access to smart meters, making it the first country in the world to do so [14]. In this investigation, residential loads and EV profiles were employed.

Recent Advances in Battery Pack Polymer Composites
2. Structural Integrity of Polymer Composite Materials A stand-alone polymer composite without any reinforcements is relatively rare in vehicle technology since its mechanical strength and structural integrity are its main assets. The design and optimization of composite carbon fiber battery box structures require careful consideration of various factors [18,19].

Perspectives on the Applications of Radiative Cooling in Buildings and Electric Cars
1. Introduction The International Energy Agency’s report on World Energy Vision, identifies energy production as the primary cause of anthropogenic air pollution across the globe. Therefore, the report highlights the need for improving energy efficiency as a solution to this problem [1]. Air pollution is mainly caused by fossil-fuel combustion (such as coal, oil, and natural gas), the major source of energy generation in many countries [2].
