Vote With Facts in Hand
As a former member of the Chester Charter Commission and an unaffiliated voter, I understand that the Chester Charter referendum has exposed many differences of opinion, yet we would do well to remember what binds us together. We share far more in common. The opposition to the charter has consistently expressed distrust in the improved structure of government proposed by the charter, creating division in our community.
Vote Yes for the Future
Letters As members of the Chester Charter Commission, we considered if Chester needed a charter and, if so, how it should be structured. We concluded that a charter was the best way to address the concerns the Board of Selectmen (BOS) asked us to investigate: A) lack of leadership continuity from one election to the next; B) increased complexity of operating a town; and C) enfranchising more voters and improving participation in boards and commissions. One Piece: WORDS by Brian Dailey - BOMB Magazine
Brian Dailey, WORDS. Multi-screen installation. The video installation WORDS reflects my conviction that artists are explorers. Our curiosity ignites a passion for the exploration of contemporary society, its politics, and cultural trends. Discovery is what propels us to express our observations and thoughts through an effective medium. We are the chroniclers if not mirrors of our society, which challenges us to reflect upon and consider the dynamics of our times.
