Brian Roewe’s Biography

Brian Roewe is an NCR staff writer and editor of the Eco Catholic blog.
In addition to environmental developments in the church and U.S., he has reported for NCR on a wide range of topics: parish closings and reorganizations; labor issues; clergy sex abuse; marriage equality; Catholic education; and the occasional sports story. His reporting has received several awards, most recently at the 2015 Catholic Press Awards.

Brian began with NCR in November 2011 as a Bertelsen intern, and is a graduate of Saint Louis University and Rockhurst University.
