First paid job was as a sports staff writer with The Maneater at Mizzou...I also interned for The One to Three Show on 590 KFNS.

Social media has made news much more accessible and kept readers engaged, but it has also damaged the credibility of many reporters.

Yes, I served as editor-in-chief for two years. I helped digitize the paper's content my senior year.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Hold yourself to a high ethical standard when reporting stories--it is always better to be last and right, than first and wrong.
