On the Garden Ridge City Council, he oversees budgets, evaluates contracts, and supports citizen involvement in city matters.
Brian's assignments within the police department included work as an investigative detective in units such as Homicide and Property Crimes. From 2016 to 2018, he served as an Internal Affairs Commander, focusing on accountability and departmental integrity. He later led the Training Academy, directing leadership programs and mentoring upcoming officers. He continues to contribute to criminal justice education as an Adjunct Professor, teaching at various universities in Texas.
Brian also held a leadership role with the San Antonio Airport Police Department, where he was responsible for operations serving more than 10 million passengers annually. In his current role as Patrol Operations Commander, he leads responses to high-pressure incidents and works to ensure community safety through strategic coordination and experienced guidance.
Brian lives in Garden Ridge with his wife and four children outside his professional duties. His service extends into volunteer coaching and participation in local church leadership.
