September 2, 2019 After rising for two consecutive months, ANZ Job Ads fell 2.8% in August. This pushed the annual decline down to -11.4%. In trend terms, job ads fell -0.5% m/m and -11.2% y/y. For the first time, Hobart is the least affordable capital city for renters, while Darwin is now the most affordable capital city for buyers. Sydney is still the least affordable market to buy in, followed closely by Melbourne.
