My father's Royal in the 60s

immediacy and penetration mostly, but it is s double edged sword

By email
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use them all for research, but I count on face to face talk and personal experience to round the information up.
Why did you become a journalist?
My father was a writer for Field and Stream, and the only Editor/Writer and the Readers Digest back in the days when it was great.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
Want to spend time with no cell, internet or motors of any kind? Yup, I do....
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That the UHNW people are not kind... all kinds of nasty words. In my experience they have a rarefied existence, but do have hearts
