What was your first job as a journalist?
I wrote the newsletter for my little league baseball team, announced the games, and wrote an article for my local newspaper about our season.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
William Miller. I had to eliminate Lester Bangs from Almost Famous and Jonathan Ames from Bored to Death because they are real people.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The real story of why you see tie-dyed Lithuanian basketball shirts at Grateful Dead shows
