Bryan's role extends to maintaining Advanced Energy's existing product lines of RF generators. He is responsible for qualifying new mechanical and electrical components, particularly when existing components become obsolete or scarce. His work in conducting thermal analysis of these components ensures that the products maintain their high standards of reliability.

In addition to these duties, Bryan provides essential support during production by addressing mechanical component issues. He focuses on resolving DFM-related concerns and improving assembly operations to enhance efficiency. He also collaborates with suppliers to address the problems related to out-of-tolerance parts, recommending rework or adjustments to ensure components meet the required specifications.

Before assuming his current role, Bryan gained valuable experience as an Assembler at Advanced Energy. In this position, he worked independently from electrical schematics, diagrams, and verbal and written instructions to assemble and test both electrical and mechanical components. He was also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Bryan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Colorado State University (CSU). His thesis research focused on the regeneration of oxidation catalysts through chemical washing. He co-authored a paper on this subject, which was presented at the 2018 Gas Machinery Conference in Kansas City, Missouri.

During his time at CSU, Bryan also worked as a Research Assistant at the CSU Hydraulics Laboratory. His responsibilities included maintaining equipment, preparing soil erosion experiments, and fabricating scale models for performance testing. He also gained experience as a Research Engineer for Pipeline Research Council International, where he researched the degradation of oxidation catalysts and the effectiveness of chemical washing treatments.

Beyond his engineering career, Bryan Hackleman is passionate about art. He enjoys painting and drawing, focusing primarily on oil paintings and landscapes. He hopes to eventually turn his artistic passion into a side career by selling his artwork. Additionally, he enjoys outdoor activities like fly fishing and hiking, activities that align with his deep connection to his home state of Colorado.
